Supervisor Technical Services
As a Supervisor Technical Services, you play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our production installations. You make sure maintenance activities are well planned and executed, the right parts are available, and our technical systems remain up to date.
You act as the link between production, technicians, suppliers, and external partners, and actively contribute to optimizing our maintenance strategy.
Job description
Maintenance Planning & Coordination
- Consult with production departments to efficiently schedule preventive and corrective maintenance (short and long term)
- Coordinate with technicians regarding tasks to be carried out (time, materials, manpower)
- Plan maintenance by external parties in consultation with internal stakeholders
- Set priorities during breakdowns to quickly restart critical production
- Ensure all materials and resources are available on time
- Support technicians during complex interventions
Materials Management & Spare Parts
- Ensure availability of parts and tools for smooth execution
- Manage the spare parts warehouse: order, cleanliness, labeling, and organization
- Align with the budget owner regarding spare parts availability within the maintenance budget
- Improve the spare parts policy based on manuals, lists, and internal/external experience
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Keep technical documentation up to date: manuals, service reports, electrical diagrams, parts lists, work instructions
- Create and maintain work instructions for preventive maintenance
- Ensure availability of as-built electrical diagrams of machines and control cabinets
- Capture and share knowledge gained from repairs with relevant stakeholders
Systems & Optimization
- Follow up and manage work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance in the CMMS system
- Contribute to improvements of installations
- Ensure technical installations comply with safety and legal standards
- Follow up on actions resulting from risk analyses and inspections
What we expect from you
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience
- Several years of experience in a production environment or technical department
- Solid basic knowledge of engineering, mechanics, and industrial installations
- Ability to work with technical manuals, construction drawings, and basic knowledge of electrical diagrams and components
- Fluent in Dutch and English; French and German are a plus
- Experience with or affinity for CMMS systems
- Strong planning and organizational skills with a hands-on mindset
- Good communicator and team player
- Strong focus on quality and safety
